The Hastings Business Law Journal, established in 2005, is one of the top business law journals in the United States. The Journal was cited by the U.S. Supreme Court in its landmark decision AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion, 563 U.S. 321 (2011), as well as by the Delaware and Texas state supreme courts. Our content has also been cited in more than 350 other academic articles.
To continue punching above its weight, the Journal staff maintains a dedication to quality content first and foremost. Three issues are published each volume, containing scholarship written by law professors, judges, practitioners, and student members of the Journal. Additionally, we accept responses to each article and note to be published on our online platform. All content, regardless of size or platform, is subjected to a rigorous editorial process, designed to sharpen and strengthen the substance and tone. We also provide a unique and effective system of promotion to extend the reach of published articles.
